My grandmother taught me to knit when I was eight years old. I didn't pick up on it right away, but always enjoyed other crafts. During Christmas break from my first semester of college, I was asked to make a scarf for a friend. I picked up my knitting needles again and haven't put them down since. I have also taught myself how to crochet and also some other crafts such as basic origami and baking.
